I’ve been slacking on my writing project as life has gotten in the way. Alas, I am back in it to win and I will have the fist draft of my book completed in 59 days, come hell or high water! How’s everyone else doing with their projects?

In sickness and in health, I am working on my project, slowly but surely. These last few days have been tough to channel my inner creative mind as I’ve turned into a mucous factory (disgusting, I know). Still, I trek on knowing that the end result will be the finish of my book! It’s going to happen, I can feel it! Until then, I am drinking tea (shocker as I hate tea), braving the elements in hopes of literary domination! Ok, maybe the cold medicine is finally getting to me, ha. It’s day 7 of my writing project! Today, I’ve been able to knock out a good amount of writing. I think one of the hardest things about writing (at least for me) is that you have so much you want to say, but you’re overthinking the process. I’ve found that writing in streams of consciousness helps me jump over that hurdle. I let my mind wander and see what sticks while editing the rest. Good morning! I am happy to report that I finally exchanged my beloved Bella Dots for a new one! While I appreciated the stand in, Mr. Coffee does not hold a candle to my precious. Now that I’ve sipped and savored my caffeinated nectar, I am off to conquer the literary world! I’ll be updating you guys on my 100DayProject today. Happy Thursday!

I am super excited to participate in the 100 Days project. The Great Discontent created this event that starts today. Long story short, you commit t 100 days of creating whatever your heart desires. You can read more about it here.

I’ve committed to 100 days of creative writing. While I’ve been a busy bee in the freelance realm, my personal creations have fallen to the wayside. Furthermore, I’m taking the opportunity to meet and appreciate fellow creatives out there, which is something I’m incredibly stoked about. Anyone else participating in the project?
