The U.S. Senate: *Congressional Reform Act of 2013*
Having family directly impacted by the government shutdown, I feel it’s incredibly important that we reevaluate the structure of congress. Political affiliation, healthcare reform, agenda hoopla aside, the government theoretically is in place for the people, not against them. Bottom line, if I do not do my job to my employer’s satisfaction, I would be terminated. Shouldn’t congress (rather all government officials) be held to the same standard?
